By Car

For us, the most comfortable option is usually the car. From central Athens, the journey takes approximately 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic. We must take the Attiki Odos (A6) highway towards the airport and then follow the signs to Artemida (Loutsa). The road is in excellent condition and the scenery is pleasant. Once in Artemida, we will find numerous parking lots, some paid and others free, especially in the less organized areas of the beach. The ease of parking is a plus, especially if we are traveling with beach equipment or children.

Public Transport

If we prefer public transport, there are also options. From the Nomismatokopeio or Doukissis Plakentias metro stations in Athens, we can take a KTEL Attikis bus that will take us directly to Artemida. Buses are frequent during the summer months and the trip is economical. It's an excellent way to experience local transport and avoid parking stress. However, it's important to check the schedules in advance, especially if we plan to stay late.

From the Airport

The proximity to the airport is unbeatable. If we arrive by plane and want to go directly to the beach, we can take a taxi or a local bus from the airport. The taxi ride is just 15-20 minutes, making Artemida an ideal first stop to relax after a flight.
