The road is modern and well-signposted, which makes driving very easy.

For those who prefer public transport, there are buses from the KTEL Attikis company that connect Athens (from the Kifissos bus station or from the Elliniko metro station) with Anavyssos. The bus journey can take between 1 and 1.5 hours, depending on traffic and the starting point. Although it's a more economical option, it can be less comfortable if we are traveling with a lot of luggage or with small children. In any case, once in Anavyssos, the beach is easily accessible, with ample parking space available, which is a great advantage during the busier months.

We, based on our experience, consider Playa de Anavyssos to be a wonderful destination for much of the year, but there are times that stand out above others. The high season, and rightly so, is summer, which spans from June to August. During these months, the weather is warm and sunny, with ideal temperatures for enjoying the beach and the sea. However, it is also when the beach is most crowded, especially on weekends.
