How to get to Playa del Miracle (Comandància)

Getting to Playa del Miracle (Comandància) is really simple, given its privileged location. If we are coming from the center of Tarragona, we can opt for a pleasant walk of just 10-15 minutes. The route allows us to admire part of the city's historical heritage, such as the Balcón del Mediterráneo or the Roman Amphitheater, which rise majestically over the sea. It's a walk that, in itself, is already part of the experience.

By car

If we prefer the comfort of the car, the beach has several parking areas nearby, although in high season they can fill up quickly. We recommend looking for parking on the adjacent streets or in the underground car parks in the city center and then walking down. The A-7 motorway and the N-340 easily connect us to Tarragona from any point.

By public transport

The Tarragona urban bus network (EMT) offers several lines that have stops near Playa del Miracle (Comandància). It is a very comfortable and economical option, especially if we don't want to worry about parking. Lines 8, 11 and 12 usually have strategic stops. Checking updated schedules and routes is always a good idea before leaving.

On foot

For those staying in the center of Tarragona, the best option is undoubtedly to walk. Its proximity is one of its greatest attractions. We can descend from the Balcón del Mediterráneo or from the Rambla Nova, enjoying the urban landscape and the sea views that accompany us along the way. It's a fantastic way to start the beach day.
