How to Get to Playa de les Avellanes

Getting to Playa de les Avellanes in L'Ampolla is surprisingly easy, making it a very comfortable destination for visitors of all ages. Its privileged location, practically integrated into the urban center of L'Ampolla, greatly facilitates arrival, whether we come by car or prefer a leisurely walk from our accommodation.

By Car

If we choose the car, the main access route is the AP-7 motorway (exit 39A for L'Ampolla) or the national road N-340. Once in L'Ampolla, the beach is clearly signposted. Being an urban beach, we will find parking nearby, often free, although in high season it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot right next to it. Our recommendation is to arrive early or look for parking on the streets adjacent to the marina, which are only a few minutes' walk from the sand. The proximity to the town center means we won't have to worry about long walks loaded with all our beach gear.

On Foot or by Bicycle

For those staying in L'Ampolla, Playa de les Avellanes is accessible on foot from any point in the municipality. A pleasant stroll along the promenade will take us directly to the sand. Furthermore, the area is ideal for exploring by bicycle, with bike lanes connecting the beach with other parts of the town and with trails leading into the Ebro Delta Natural Park.
