How to Get to Playa de la Pixerota

Getting to Playa de la Pixerota is relatively straightforward, making it an accessible destination for most travelers. We always recommend planning your route in advance, especially if you're coming during the high season, to avoid any surprises.

By Car

This is, without a doubt, the most comfortable and flexible option. If you're coming from Barcelona or Valencia, the AP-7 motorway is your best ally. You should take exit 37 (Hospitalet de l'Infant/Mont-roig del Camp) and follow the signs towards Mont-roig del Camp and, subsequently, towards the coast. The beach is well signposted once you approach the coastal area. There are nearby parking areas, some free and others paid, but you'll generally find a place to leave your car without too much trouble, although in the middle of August you might have to circle around a bit. The advantage of going by car is that it will allow you to explore the surroundings with complete freedom.

By Train

The nearest train station to Mont-roig del Camp is Hospitalet de l'Infant, which is part of the Tarragona commuter line. From there, you'll need to take a taxi or a local bus to get to the beach. Another option is to arrive at Camp de Tarragona station (AVE) and then take a regional train or a bus to Hospitalet de l'Infant or directly to Mont-roig del Camp, although this last option is less direct for the beach.

By Bus

There are bus lines connecting Mont-roig del Camp with other towns on the Costa Dorada and with the city of Tarragona. Once in the center of Mont-roig, you might need another local bus or a walk, depending on the exact location of your accommodation and the frequency of transport. During the summer months, lines connecting the town center with the different beaches are usually set up.

The Sand and Water
