How to Get to Playa de l'Almadrava

Getting to Playa de l'Almadrava is relatively straightforward, making it even more attractive. We always recommend planning the route in advance, although the signage in the area is quite good. It is well-connected and accessible both by road and, to some extent, by public transport.

By Car

For most of us, the car is the most comfortable option to reach this beach. If we're coming from the north or south, we can take the AP-7 motorway or the A-7 highway (exit 38 or 39, direction L'Hospitalet de l'Infant). Once on the N-340, which runs parallel to the coast, we'll find signs for the beach. Playa de l'Almadrava is a bit removed from the main urban center of L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, which contributes to its tranquil atmosphere. There are parking areas nearby, some free and others paid, especially in high season. Our experience tells us that arriving early ensures a good parking spot, avoiding unnecessary detours.

By Public Transport

Although there is no bus line that drops us right on the sand, we can take a train to L'Hospitalet de l'Infant station. From there, we could take a taxi or, in high season, perhaps a local bus connecting to the different beaches in the municipality. However, for the convenience of carrying our beach gear and moving freely, the car remains the best option for visiting Playa de l'Almadrava and exploring its surroundings.

The color of the sea, ranging from turquoise to deep blue, is simply mesmerizing and invites us to dive right in. The water temperature, especially in summer, is very pleasant, perfect for cooling off and enjoying long swims. We love the feeling of floating in these waters, observing the seabed with total clarity.
