Getting to Playa de Creixell is relatively straightforward, making it a very accessible destination for all types of travelers. We always recommend planning the route a little to make the most of the journey.

By Car

If we come by car, the AP-7 motorway and the national road N-340 are the main access routes. From Barcelona, the journey usually takes about an hour and a quarter, while from Tarragona city, we are just 20-25 minutes away. Once we take the exit towards Creixell, the signage will guide us without problems to the beach area. It's important to know that, especially in high season, parking can be a challenge. However, Playa de Creixell has several designated parking areas, some paid and others free, although the latter tend to fill up quickly. We usually arrive early to secure a good spot.

By Public Transport

Although the car is the most comfortable option, we can also get there by public transport. The nearest train stations are Torredembarra or Roda de Barà, both on the R2 Sud commuter line. From there, we can take a taxi or a local bus to Creixell and the beach. Interurban buses also connect Creixell with Tarragona and other nearby towns, providing us with a sustainable and relaxed alternative to reach our beach destination.
