How to Get to Cala de l'Àliga

Accessing Cala de l'Àliga is part of the adventure and charm of this corner. We are in an area where nature still has much to say, and that implies that access, although simple, requires a small dose of exploration. The cove is located south of the urban center of L'Ametlla de Mar, following the coastline and the signs towards the Las Tres Calas urbanization.

Access by Car

For us, the most comfortable way to get there is by car. From L'Ametlla de Mar, we will take the N-340 road heading south or the AP-7 (exit 39A) if we come from farther away. Once in the Las Tres Calas area, follow the signs towards the cove. We will see that the paved road brings us quite close, and although we cannot reach the sand itself by car, there is a designated parking area nearby. This parking, although not huge, usually has enough space, except on days of maximum influx in mid-August. From the parking lot, a short walk of a few minutes will lead us directly to the cove. We recommend arriving early in high season to secure a good spot.

Access on Foot or by Bicycle

For the more adventurous or those who prefer a more ecological approach, Cala de l'Àliga is accessible via the Camí de Ronda (GR-92). This coastal trail, which runs along the entire Catalan coast, passes right by this cove. It is a fantastic option to combine a gentle hiking day with a refreshing swim.
