How to Get to Playa de Liméns

Getting to Playa de Liméns is relatively easy, and the journey itself offers a preview of the landscapes that await us. Being on the coast of Cangas, the main transport options are by private car, although there are also some public transport alternatives we can consider.

By Car

For us, the most comfortable and flexible way to reach Playa de Liméns is undoubtedly by car. From the center of Cangas, the journey is short, just 5 to 10 minutes, depending on traffic. We must take the coastal road, the PO-551, in the direction of Aldán. We will see well-signposted turnoffs towards the beach. The road will guide us through residential areas and small rural villages, offering us intermittent views of the sea. From cities like Vigo or Pontevedra, the route is equally direct. From Vigo, we will take the Corredor del Morrazo (CG-4.1) to Cangas, and once there, we will follow the signs to Liméns. From Pontevedra, the route will take us along the PO-551 directly to Cangas. It's a scenic journey that prepares us for the tranquility of the destination.

Parking

Once we approach the beach, we will find parking options. Playa de Liméns has a parking area, although its capacity can be limited during the peak summer months, especially in July and August, and on sunny weekends. During these times, parking may be paid, or we may have to find a spot on the surrounding streets, always respecting the signs and resident access.
