How to get to Playa de Levante
Getting to Playa de Levante is really simple, which makes it even more attractive. If we come by car, Águilas is well connected by road. From the city of Murcia, we can take the A-7 towards Lorca and then the A-7/AP-7, turning off onto the RM-11 which will take us directly to Águilas. Once in the municipality, the beach is very central and well signposted, located along the promenade that borders the urban centre.
Parking
Regarding parking, as it is an urban beach, we have several options. During the high season, it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot near the promenade, but there are regulated parking zones (ORA) and some public underground car parks in the centre of Águilas that allow us to leave the car at a comfortable distance and then take a pleasant walk to the sand. We always recommend arriving early to secure a good spot.
Public Transport
Águilas also has a local train station, which connects with Lorca and Murcia, offering an interesting alternative to avoid the car. Once at the station, Playa de Levante is a short walk away.
