From Cartagena, we will take the highway towards La Manga and look for exits leading to the more eastern coves of the municipality, such as Cala Reona or Calblanque. Playa de la Galera is located in an area relatively close to these, although with a more discreet access. Often, the last stretch is on unpaved roads or forest tracks, so we recommend driving with caution, especially if our vehicle is not an off-roader. Parking is usually informal, in small dirt clearings or wide shoulders, where we will leave the car to continue on foot.
