By Private Car

If we choose to drive, Playa de El Hornillo is easily accessible from the A-7 motorway (Autovía del Mediterráneo) or the AP-7, taking the exit towards Águilas. Once in the municipality, signs towards the port or the El Hornillo area will guide us without problems. The advantage of traveling by car is flexibility and the possibility to explore the surroundings at our own pace.

Parking

Regarding parking, it is one of the great comforts offered by this beach. It has nearby parking zones, both free and paid during high season, which greatly facilitates arrival and avoids worries. We recommend arriving early in the summer months to secure a good spot, as the popularity of Águilas beach is growing.

Public Transport

Águilas has a train station and several intercity bus lines connecting with other towns in Murcia and neighboring provinces. From the Águilas bus or train station, we can take a taxi or, in many cases, enjoy a pleasant walk if our accommodation is not too far, as the beach is a short distance from the center.
