If coming from the city of Murcia, we take exit 790 towards San Javier/Santiago de la Ribera. From Alicante, the same AP-7 will take us directly, with clear signs towards the Mar Menor. Once in Santiago de la Ribera, following the signs to the promenade is the best option; the beach is integrated into the urban fabric, which facilitates access. Furthermore, there are several parking areas on the adjacent streets and around the promenade, although in high season it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot, so we recommend arriving early.

For those who prefer public transport, San Javier has bus lines connecting to the city of Murcia and other nearby towns. From the San Javier bus station, you can take a local bus or a taxi to Santiago de la Ribera and the beach. The nearest airports are Murcia Region International Airport (Corvera), about 30-35 kilometers away, and Alicante-Elche Airport, approximately 70-80 kilometers away. Both offer car rental and taxi services, making the transfer to our destination easy.
