How to Get to Playa de Torrevigía

Getting to Playa de Torrevigía is surprisingly simple, making it an even more attractive destination for us. Its excellent location in Benalmádena Costa facilitates access from different points and via various means of transport.

By Car

If we come by car, the most common way is to take the A-7 motorway (Autovía del Mediterráneo) and take the Benalmádena Costa exit. Once in the municipality, signs towards the coast and, specifically, towards the Puerto Marina area or Parque de la Paloma, will lead us directly to the vicinity of the beach. Finding parking can be a challenge in high season, but Torrevigía has some nearby Parking areas, both paid and street parking options in adjacent streets, although the latter tend to fill up quickly. We always recommend arriving early to secure a good spot.

By Public Transport

Public transport is an excellent alternative. Benalmádena is very well connected by the C-1 Cercanías train line, which links Málaga city with Fuengirola. The nearest station is 'Benalmádena-Arroyo de la Miel'. From there, we can take a local bus (several lines run along the coast and stop near Torrevigía) or a taxi, which will drop us off just a few meters from the sand. There are also intercity bus lines connecting Benalmádena with other nearby municipalities, such as Torremolinos or Fuengirola, making strategic stops along the coast.

On Foot or by Bicycle

For those staying in the immediate vicinity of Benalmádena Costa, accessing the beach on foot or by bicycle is a very pleasant option. The area has an extensive promenade that connects several beaches and points of interest, offering a picturesque and safe route. It's a fantastic way to enjoy the scenery and reach Torrevigía while getting a bit of exercise.
