How to Get to Playa de Nagüeles

Getting to Playa de Nagüeles is, in itself, part of the Marbella experience. As it is nestled in the famous Golden Mile, access is quite straightforward and well-signposted, whether we are coming from the center of Marbella or from Puerto Banús. We always recommend planning the route, especially during high season, to avoid setbacks and ensure the journey is as pleasant as the stay at the beach.

If we choose to drive, the A-7 highway (formerly the N-340) is the main access route. We must take the exit indicating 'Nagüeles' or 'Golden Mile', and from there follow the signs towards the coast. Along the Golden Mile, we will find several entrances that will lead us directly to the beach or its vicinity. It's important to consider that parking can be a challenge in the summer months. There are public parking areas, often paid, and some chiringuitos or hotel complexes offer private parking for their clients. Our recommendation is to arrive early if traveling by car, or consider alternatives.

Public Transport and Other Options

Marbella has a good public transport system. Several urban bus lines run along the Golden Mile and have stops near Playa de Nagüeles. It's a comfortable and economical option to avoid parking stress. Furthermore, taxis and ride-hailing services are abundant in the area and will drop us off directly at the beach entrance or our favorite chiringuito. For those who enjoy a stroll, the beach is accessible on foot or by bicycle via Marbella's beautiful promenade, which connects much of the coast and offers spectacular views. This last option is, without a doubt, one of our favorites, as it allows us to enjoy the atmosphere and landscape before immersing ourselves in the sand.
