How to Get to Playa de Mezquitilla

Getting to Playa de Mezquitilla is a simple task, regardless of the means of transport we choose, making it an accessible destination for everyone. If we come by car, the A-7 motorway is our main ally. We will take the exit for Algarrobo or Caleta de Vélez, and from there, the signs will guide us without difficulty to the coast. The beach runs parallel to the N-340, which greatly facilitates its location and access. We always recommend using a GPS navigator for greater convenience, but the signage in the area is quite clear.

For those who prefer public transport, there is a good connection of intercity buses that link Algarrobo Costa (where Mezquitilla is located) with other nearby towns such as Torre del Mar, Vélez-Málaga, and even Malaga city. The bus stops are usually conveniently located a short distance from the beach, allowing comfortable access for visitors. It is an excellent option if we want to forget about the car and the search for parking, especially during the high season.
