The beach does not have an underground or large car park, which contributes to its less crowded atmosphere. Generally, we will find informal parking areas in the surroundings or on nearby streets, especially if we arrive early in the morning. From there, a short walk will lead us directly to the sand. It's important to remember that during the high season months, parking availability may be more limited, so we always recommend planning the visit in advance to secure a good spot and start the beach day stress-free.

The sand and the water

One of the aspects that most captivates us about Playa de los Toros is, without a doubt, the uniqueness of its sand and the purity of its waters. Unlike the golden sand beaches that predominate in other areas, here we find a 'mixed' type of sand, with darker tones and a texture that combines fine grains with coarser ones, and even small stones or pebbles polished by the sea. This 'mixed' ground gives it a more natural and wild character, inviting us to walk barefoot and feel the connection with the earth.

The waters of Playa de los Toros are simply spectacular. For us, choosing the best time to visit Playa de los Toros depends a lot on the type of experience we are looking for. If what we long for is maximum tranquility, pleasant temperatures, and the possibility of having the beach almost to ourselves, spring (April, May, and early June) and autumn (September and October) are, without a doubt, the ideal times. During these months, the climate on the Costa del Sol is mild, the sun shines intensely, and the number of visitors is considerably lower, allowing us to enjoy the peace and beauty of the surroundings at their peak.

If, on the contrary, our priority is to enjoy warmer waters and a more lively summer atmosphere (though without reaching the overcrowding of other beaches), the months of July and August are the most suitable. However, we must be prepared for a higher influx of bathers and higher temperatures. In any case, Playa de los Toros Manilva maintains its charm all year round, always offering us a refuge of calm and natural beauty that invites us to return again and again.
