How to Get to Playa de la Viborilla

If you're coming by car, the best way is to take the N-340 (the old coastal road) heading towards Fuengirola if you're coming from Benalmádena center or Malaga, or towards Benalmádena if you're coming from Fuengirola. You'll need to watch for signs to the 'El Parador' or 'La Viborilla' beach bars, as the beach is right below them. There are some parking spaces on the N-340 road itself or on adjacent streets, but they tend to fill up quickly in high season. Our recommendation is to arrive early to secure a spot. From the parking area, access to the sand is via a set of stairs or winding ramps that descend down the cliff, giving it that 'hidden' cove feel.

By Public Transport

It's also possible to arrive by bus. The M-110 line (Malaga-Benalmádena-Fuengirola) has stops along the N-340 very close to the cove. Getting off at the stop nearest to 'El Parador' or 'La Viborilla', the walk to the access stairs is short. It's a convenient option if you don't want to worry about parking, though remember the last stretch will always be on foot and involves a slope.
