How to get to Playa de Burriana

By car

If we are coming from Malaga city or the airport, the most direct route is to take the A-7 motorway towards Almeria. We must take exit 292 'Nerja/Maro'. Once in Nerja, the signs for 'Playa de Burriana' are quite clear. The beach is located east of the urban centre. The main challenge by car is parking. The beach has a large paid car park located right next to it, which is a great convenience. However, in the months of July and August, and especially on weekends, it can fill up quickly. Our suggestion is to arrive early in the morning to secure a spot or, if possible, consider other transport options.

On foot or by public transport

If we are staying in the centre of Nerja, we can reach Burriana with a pleasant walk. However, it should be noted that the return journey is uphill, which can be a bit demanding under the summer sun. For those who prefer not to walk or are carrying a lot of luggage, there is an urban bus service connecting the centre of Nerja with Playa de Burriana. The schedules are usually frequent during the day. Another popular option, especially for those who don't want to deal with the car, are taxis, which have reasonable fares from any point in Nerja.
