The sand and the water
One of the most attractive features of Playa de Sant Antoni is, without a doubt, its sand and waters. We, who have visited many beaches, can confirm that here we find an almost perfect combination.
Fine golden sand
The sand at Playa de Sant Antoni is mostly fine and a pleasant golden colour. It is a delight to walk barefoot on it, feel its softness underfoot and see how it stretches for its 750 metres in length. It is ideal for building sandcastles with the little ones or simply for laying out a towel and enjoying the sun without worrying about annoying stones. The type of ground is predominantly sand, which guarantees exceptional comfort both in and out of the water.
Calm and crystal-clear waters
The waters of this beach are a true gift. Normally, we find them calm and crystal-clear, with a hue ranging from turquoise blue to emerald green, reflecting the sky of the Costa Brava. The entrance to the sea is gentle and gradual, making it very safe for bathing, especially for children and the elderly. The water quality is endorsed by the Blue Flag, a distinction that is renewed year after year and gives us the peace of mind of knowing we are in a well-maintained and environmentally friendly setting. It is a pleasure to immerse ourselves in them and be carried away by the freshness of the Mediterranean.
