How to Get to Playa de la Colomera

Getting to Playa de la Colomera is part of the adventure and charm of this cove. Don't expect an easy, direct car access, which contributes to its wild character and the feeling of discovery. Located in the Cap de Creus Natural Park, accessing it requires a bit of effort, but trust us, the reward is immense.

Access on Foot

The most common and rewarding way to get there is on foot. From El Port de la Selva, you can take the coastal path (GR-92) towards Cap de Creus. It's a spectacular route that winds along the coast, offering impressive panoramic views. The walk to the cove can take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your pace and the exact starting point. The trail is not excessively difficult, but it is uneven, with some ups and downs, so we recommend wearing suitable footwear (hiking shoes or comfortable sneakers) and enough water, especially in the warmer months. Signage can be discreet, so it's useful to have a map or a GPS app for orientation. Keep in mind that in high season, finding parking in the village can be a challenge, so it's advisable to arrive early. From there, the adventure on foot begins.
