We recommend going by car to the vicinity and then continuing on foot, as direct access is limited and helps preserve its atmosphere.

Car Access and Parking

If we come from Llancà, we must take the road towards El Port de la Selva. We will see signs or turnoffs towards the 'Cap Ras' or 'Grifeu' area. There are areas where we can leave the car parked, although it's not a formal, organized parking lot specifically for the cove. It's more of a parking area on the sides of the road or in small improvised clearings. It's important to be respectful of the environment and not block paths or private access. From there, access to the cove is via a trail, which can be a bit uneven and with some slope, so it's essential to wear appropriate footwear, preferably sports shoes or closed sandals that offer good grip. The walk is usually about 5-10 minutes, depending on where we managed to park and our pace.

From where we park, the path to Playa de Cau del Llop involves a short hike through Mediterranean vegetation, already offering the first partial views of the coast.
