The journey from Barcelona is approximately an hour and a half, while from Girona city it's about 30-40 minutes.
For parking, the area has various options, both paid (underground car parks and blue zones) and some free parking areas a bit further from the center. During the high season, we recommend arriving early to find a spot. We can also opt for public transport; there are bus lines connecting Platja d'Aro with Girona and other nearby towns, as well as with Girona-Costa Brava Airport, which is about 30 kilometers away.
