We always recommend planning the trip a little, but in this case, the options are varied and comfortable.

By Private Car

If you're coming by car, the most direct and popular option, Playa de El Clot is very well signposted. From the AP-7 Motorway, take exit 42 (Vinaròs/Benicarló). Once in Vinaròs, follow the signs towards the town center and the beach area. Given its central location, you'll find parking on adjacent streets or in nearby public car parks. It's important to remember that in high season, especially in July and August, parking can be more difficult, so we advise arriving early to secure a good spot. There are regulated parking zones and free ones a bit further away, but still within a comfortable walking distance. The convenience of having the car nearby is a plus, especially if you're traveling with children or a lot of luggage.

By Public Transport

For those who prefer public transport, Vinaròs has a train station that connects it to various cities in Spain, including Valencia and Barcelona, via the C-6 Cercanías (commuter) line and Media Distancia (mid-distance) trains. Once at Vinaròs train station, Playa de El Clot is about a 15-20 minute walk away, or you can take a taxi or one of the local buses that run through the town. The bus lines usually have stops very close to the beach area, making access even easier without a private vehicle. We, in particular, really enjoy a walk along the promenade to the beach, as it allows us to discover the town and its maritime atmosphere before diving into the sea.

If you're already staying in Vinaròs, the best option is undoubtedly to go on foot or by bicycle. Playa de El Clot is part of the town's charming promenade, making it perfectly accessible for a pleasant stroll.
