How to Get to Playa de Belcaire

Getting to Playa de Belcaire in Moncofa is relatively easy, especially if we travel by car, which is the most comfortable and flexible option for exploring the area. We always recommend planning the route in advance, although Moncofa's location is quite accessible.

By Car

From Valencia or Castellón, the most direct way is to take the A-7 highway or the AP-7 toll motorway. The exit for Moncofa is well signposted. Once in the municipality, the signs to the beach are clear, guiding us directly to the promenade and parking areas. The network of secondary roads also connects Moncofa with other coastal and inland towns of Castellón, facilitating access from any point in the province. The advantage of traveling by car is the freedom to explore the surroundings at our own pace, without depending on public transport schedules.

Parking

Playa de Belcaire has various parking areas, both on the streets adjacent to the promenade and in designated open spaces, especially during the high season. Although in July and August it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot right on the front line, there are always options available within a short walking distance. We have found that, even on the busiest days, with a little patience, you can always find a place to leave your vehicle. Furthermore, many accommodations in the area offer parking spaces, which is a plus if we stay for several days.

Public Transport

Public transport to get directly to Playa de Belcaire is more limited. Moncofa has bus services connecting it with nearby towns and, sometimes, with the capital, Castellón de la Plana. However, the frequencies may not be the most convenient, especially if we come from more distant cities. The nearest train station with good connections is in Castellón de la Plana, from where we could take a bus or taxi to Moncofa.
