How to get to Cala del Moro

Getting to Cala del Moro is relatively simple, making it an accessible destination for most travelers. From the center of Peñíscola, we can choose several routes, each with its own charm. If we come by car, the cove is located south of the urban center, following the coastal road that connects Peñíscola with Benicarló. There is signage that will guide us to this small gem.

By car

For us, the car is the most comfortable option, as it allows us to bring everything needed for a day at the beach and explore the surroundings freely. There are parking areas near the cove, although in high season they can fill up quickly. We always recommend arriving early to secure a good spot. The distance from the center of Peñíscola is only a few kilometers, which translates into a journey of no more than 5-10 minutes.

Walking or by bicycle

For lovers of walks or cycling, getting to Cala del Moro on foot or by bicycle is an excellent option. There is a promenade and paths connecting the urban area of Peñíscola with the coves to the south. This route allows us to enjoy the views of the Mediterranean and the profile of Peñíscola with its castle in the background, an experience that is already part of the adventure. It is a pleasant walk suitable for almost everyone, although we must consider the distance and incline if we are with young children.

During the summer months, Peñíscola usually has an urban bus service connecting the center with the different beach areas. It is advisable to check the schedules and the stops closest to Cala del Moro beach upon arrival in the municipality, as they may vary.
