How to Get to Playa de El Sable (Tagle)

If coming from Santander or Torrelavega, the most comfortable way is to take the A-67 highway and then the CA-132 road towards Suances. Once near Suances, you should follow the signs to Tagle. Access to the beach is well signposted, and although the road narrows a bit in the final stretches, the journey is worth it.

By Private Car

The most popular and practical option is by car. We always prefer this mode for the flexibility it offers. There are several parking areas near the beach, some free, although they can fill up quickly during the high season. We advise arriving early during July and August to secure a good spot. From the parking area, a short walk will take you directly to the sand. It's important to respect traffic signs and designated parking areas to avoid fines and preserve the natural environment.

Public Transport

Public transport to Tagle is more limited. There are bus lines connecting Suances with nearby towns, but getting directly to the beach by bus might involve a considerable walk from the nearest stop.
