How to Get to Playa de Dicido

The cove is located near the Mioño neighborhood, within the municipal area of Castro Urdiales.

Access and Parking

Generally, the most common access involves driving to the village of Mioño. Once there, you'll find some areas where you can park, although availability may be limited, especially during high season. From Mioño, you'll have to continue on foot along a path that will lead you directly to the coast and, finally, to the beach. The path is simple, but it's not without some irregularities, so we recommend wearing comfortable and suitable footwear for walking. It is not a beach with access facilities for people with reduced mobility or baby strollers, which reinforces its more natural and wild character.

You won't find lifeguards, showers, public toilets, or umbrella/sunbed rentals at Playa de Dicido. There are also no beach bars or restaurants directly on the sand. This characteristic is something we greatly value, as it allows us to enjoy a purer beach experience, without the distractions of mass tourism. It is essential that each visitor is responsible and brings everything they need for their beach day, as well as taking all their waste back with them, helping to keep this paradise intact.

Parking and Accessibility

As mentioned in the 'How to Get There' section, the only 'service' we could highlight is the possibility of parking near the village of Mioño, from where you access the cove on foot. It is an informal and unsupervised parking area. Accessibility, as already indicated, is limited. Playa de Dicido does not have ramps or adapted walkways, making it a destination more suitable for those who enjoy walks and exploring natural corners with a slightly more adventurous access.
