How to Get to Playa de Fuentebravía

Getting to Playa de Fuentebravía is relatively easy, making it a very accessible option for any type of visitor. If we come by car, the most common and comfortable way, we can access El Puerto de Santa María via the A-4 motorway or the A-480 from Jerez de la Frontera. Once in El Puerto, the beach is located in the western part of the municipality, well signposted. We will head towards the Fuentebravía area, which is a well-known coastal development.

By Car

• From Cádiz city: We will take the AP-4 towards Sevilla and then the exit towards El Puerto de Santa María. We will follow the signs towards the coast and the Fuentebravía development. The journey usually takes about 25-30 minutes.
• From Jerez de la Frontera: We will take the A-4 towards El Puerto de Santa María. Once there, the beach is well indicated. Approximately 15-20 minutes.
• Parking: The area has several parking options. Around the beach, especially in the streets adjacent to the development, we will find parking spaces, although in high season they can fill up quickly. It is advisable to arrive early to secure a good spot. There are regulated parking zones and free ones, as well as some nearby private parking.

By Public Transport

• Urban bus: During the summer season, El Puerto de Santa María has urban bus lines that connect the city center with the different beaches, including Fuentebravía. It's a comfortable option if we are staying in the center or don't want to worry about parking.
• Train: The El Puerto de Santa María train station has connections to Cádiz, Jerez, and other cities. From the station, we can take a taxi or an urban bus to the beach.

• Parking: As mentioned earlier, the Fuentebravía development has parking areas close to the beach, facilitating access for those traveling by private vehicle.
• Chiringuitos and Restaurants: Several chiringuitos and restaurants are located directly on the sand or on the adjacent promenade. Here we can taste delicious local cuisine, from fried fish to rice dishes, while enjoying sea views. They are ideal places for a snack, a meal, or a drink at sunset, creating a lively and social atmosphere.
