From Jerez de la Frontera, for example, we can take the A-480, a journey of about 30-40 minutes. From the city of Cádiz, access is equally comfortable, either by road or, if we want a different experience, we can take the catamaran that connects Cádiz with El Puerto de Santa María and then a bus or taxi to Rota, or directly an intercity bus that will drop us off in the center of Rota, very close to the beach.

Once in Rota, the beach is easily accessible on foot from most points in the city. Its extensive promenade runs parallel to the sand, offering multiple entry points. For those who opt for the car, there are parking areas on the streets adjacent to the promenade, although in high season it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot, as is usual in urban beaches. Our recommendation is to arrive early or consider using public transport if we are staying in the center of Rota or its immediate surroundings.
