How to Get to Playa de Pasha Dere

Getting to Playa de Pasha Dere is part of the adventure and, at the same time, one of the reasons it retains its virgin character. Do not expect to find impeccable signage or paved roads right up to the shore. We highly recommend traveling by car, as access by public transport is practically non-existent and quite complicated. From Varna, the nearest city, the journey is approximately 20-30 kilometers heading south. The route involves taking the main road and then turning off onto dirt tracks. These tracks, although passable for most vehicles, can be somewhat rough, especially after rain, so careful driving is essential.

Once you leave the main road, the landscape begins to transform, announcing the proximity of this natural paradise. There is no formal parking lot, but rather wide areas where visitors park their vehicles informally, under the shade of trees or in naturally cleared spaces. It is important to remember that, as it is a protected natural environment, we must be extremely careful about where we park and, of course, not leave any waste. The experience of arriving at Playa de Pasha Dere is, in itself, a prelude to the disconnection that awaits us, a small odyssey that richly rewards us upon reaching our destination.

The Sand and the Water

Playa de Pasha Dere seduces us with sand that is, without a doubt, one of its greatest attractions: fine, golden, and exceptionally clean. Walking barefoot, we feel its softness under our feet, a caress that invites us to lay out a towel and simply enjoy. This sand stretches for several kilometers, offering a vast space where we will never feel crowded, even on the busiest summer days. As for the water, the waters of the Black Sea at Pasha Dere are surprisingly clear and calm, especially in the summer months. Its blue-green hue invites a refreshing and safe swim. The entrance to the sea is gentle and shallow for many meters, making it an ideal place for children to play at the shore under adult supervision. The water temperature is pleasant in July and August, making swimming a delight. Being a wild beach, the water's transparency often allows us to observe small fish and marine life close to the shore, adding a touch of natural exploration to our experience. The combination of fine sand and serene waters is what, for us, defines the pure and relaxing essence of this magnificent Varna beach.

Services and Facilities

If you are looking for a beach with all modern comforts, Playa de Pasha Dere may not be your ideal destination. And that is precisely where much of its charm lies. We appreciate it for its virgin character and lack of development. Services and facilities are minimal, which underscores its commitment to nature. You will not find showers, lifeguards, public toilets, or rentals for umbrellas and sunbeds. This is a place for self-sufficiency, where each visitor is responsible for their own comfort and for keeping the environment intact.

However, this does not mean there is absolutely nothing. During the high season months, it is possible that, informally, very basic small stalls or 'chiringuitos' may appear, offering cold drinks and some simple snacks. But we should not count on them as a guarantee. The 'parking' is, as mentioned, a series of informal spaces along the access road, without surveillance or cost. For us, the absence of massive infrastructure is a blessing, as it allows nature to be the undisputed protagonist. It is essential that everyone brings everything they need: water, food, sunscreen, an umbrella, towels, and, of course, bags to take all the trash back with them. In this way, we contribute to preserving the immaculate beauty of Playa de Pasha Dere for all who visit it and for future generations.
