We can choose to rent a car, which will give us the most freedom to explore the area at our own pace. The main E87 road takes us directly south, passing through Burgas city, and then taking the turnoff towards Sozopol. From Sozopol, Playa de Kavatsi is only about 3-4 kilometers to the south. The drive usually takes about 45-60 minutes, depending on traffic.

Another alternative is to take a bus from the central station in Burgas to Sozopol. Buses are frequent and the trip is quite economical. Once in Sozopol, we can take a taxi or a local minibus that will take us directly to Playa de Kavatsi.
