How to Get to Playa de Elenite

Getting to Playa de Elenite is relatively straightforward, given its location within a well-known tourist complex. The most common way to access it is via Burgas International Airport (BOJ), which is about 40 kilometers away. From there, visitors can choose from several transportation options:

By Rental Car

Renting a car at Burgas Airport is one of the most comfortable options and gives us greater freedom to explore the surroundings. The route is direct and well-signposted, following the E87 highway north along the coast. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Furthermore, the Elenite resort has ample parking areas, which makes the stay easier.

Private Transfers or Taxi

For those who prefer not to drive, private transfers or taxis are an excellent alternative. There are numerous companies offering this service from the airport directly to the door of your accommodation in Elenite. Although it can be a bit more expensive, the comfort and speed are worth it, especially if you're traveling with a lot of luggage or in a group.

Public Transport

While it is possible to get there by public transport, it is an option that requires more connections and time. You can take a bus from Burgas Airport to Burgas Central Bus Station, and from there, another bus to Sveti Vlas or Sunny Beach, and finally a taxi or local bus to Elenite. It's not what we would recommend for a stress-free arrival, but it is an economical option.

The Sand and Water

Playa de Elenite captivates us with its fine sand, golden in tone and soft to the touch, ideal for walking barefoot or for children to build sandcastles. It's clean and well-maintained sand, which contributes to the feeling of neatness and comfort we seek in any beach destination. The texture is very pleasant and doesn't stick excessively, making cleaning up after a day in the sun easy.

As for the water, we encounter the calm and transparent waters of the Black Sea, which here show exceptional calmness. The entry into the sea is very gentle and gradual, meaning it remains shallow for quite a few meters from the shore. This characteristic is fundamental for us, as it makes it an exemplary family beach, where parents can relax knowing their children are safe while playing at the water's edge. The water color is a greenish-blue that invites swimming and relaxation, and its temperature in the summer months is very pleasant.

The water quality is consistently high, a fact corroborated by its recognition with the Blue Flag, a distinction that for us is synonymous with environmental and service excellence. This assures us that both the cleanliness of the water and the sand, as well as waste management and public information, meet the highest standards. It's a pleasure to immerse yourself in these waters and enjoy a refreshing swim under the Bulgarian sun.

• Chiringuitos and Restaurants: Several establishments right on the beach or very close by offer a varied gastronomic selection, from quick snacks and refreshing drinks at the chiringuitos to more elaborate meals at the resort's restaurants. It's ideal for not having to go too far from the sand.
• Showers and Toilets/WC: Essential for hygiene and comfort, the beach has showers to rinse off sand and salt, as well as clean and well-maintained Toilets/WC facilities, accessible to all users.
• Lifeguarding: Safety is paramount, and therefore, the presence of professional lifeguards during swimming hours is a service that gives us great peace of mind, especially on such a popular beach.
