How to Get to Playa de Pla de l'Os

Getting to Playa de Pla de l'Os is relatively straightforward, given its excellent connection with Barcelona and other towns in the Maresme. We always recommend planning the trip to make the most of the day.

By Car

If we choose to drive, the most direct option is to take the C-32 motorway towards Girona from Barcelona. We should take exit 92 (Premià de Mar). Once in the municipality, the beach is well signposted, and we'll find several parking areas, both free (though more limited in high season) and paid, near the port and the promenade. The journey from central Barcelona usually takes about 25-35 minutes, depending on traffic. It's important to remember that in summer, access and parking can be more challenging, so arriving early is always a good strategy.

By Public Transport

Public transport is a very comfortable and recommended option. The R1 line of Rodalies de Catalunya connects us directly from central Barcelona (Plaça Catalunya Station, Arc de Triomf, Clot-Aragó) to Premià de Mar station. The train journey is very pleasant, offering us spectacular views of the coast. Once at Premià de Mar station, the beach is just a few minutes' walk away, crossing the underpass that leads directly to the promenade and, from there, to Playa de Pla de l'Os. There are also interurban bus lines connecting Premià de Mar with other nearby towns, making access even easier.

By Bicycle or on Foot

For lovers of sports and nature, the Maresme coast has a bike lane and a promenade that allow us to reach Playa de Pla de l'Os from neighboring municipalities like El Masnou or Vilassar de Mar. It's a fantastic way to enjoy the coastal landscape before taking a well-deserved swim.
