Playa de Ocata stretches for almost two and a half kilometers, offering us a generous space where we never feel overwhelmed by the crowd, even on the busiest days. How to Get to Playa de Ocata

Getting to Playa de Ocata is extremely easy, making it a very accessible option for any type of traveler. Its excellent connection with Barcelona and nearby towns in the Maresme greatly facilitates the visit, whether we come by public transport or private car.

By Train

For us, the most comfortable and ecological option is the train. The R1 line of Rodalies de Catalunya drops us off directly at Ocata station, which is literally right on the beach. Getting off the train, the sand and sea welcome us, eliminating the need for long journeys or parking searches. It's a direct connection to the heart of Barcelona beaches and the main coastal cities. The frequency is good, especially during the high season, allowing us to plan our day without worries.

By Car

If we prefer the flexibility of the car, the beach is accessible via the N-II or the C-32 motorway. If coming from Barcelona, the C-32 is the fastest option. Once in El Masnou, we will find several parking areas, although in the summer months it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot near the beach. Many visitors choose to park on the streets adjacent to the urban center or in paid parking lots. Our recommendation is to arrive early if the goal is to secure a good parking spot.

By Bus

Several intercity bus lines connect El Masnou with nearby towns and the capital. The stops are usually a short distance from the beach, making it a viable option as well. It is advisable to check specific schedules and routes according to our point of origin, but in general, the public transport network is well adapted to take us to this fantastic El Masnou beach.

The Sand and Water

We were captivated by the fineness of its sand, of a golden hue that invites us to take off our shoes and feel it under our feet.
