By Car

If we opt for the comfort of the car, the beach is easily accessible from the C-32 highway. The Mataró exit will leave us just minutes from the coast. Once in the city, we'll find signage guiding us to the beach area. It's important to consider that, being an urban beach, parking can be a challenge, especially during the summer months. There are paid parking areas nearby, and sometimes it's possible to find street parking in the surrounding streets, though it requires some patience. We always recommend arriving early to secure a good spot.

By Public Transport

Public transport is an excellent alternative, especially if we're coming from Barcelona. The R1 line of Rodalies de Catalunya connects us directly from central Barcelona (Plaça de Catalunya, Arc de Triomf, Clot-Aragó) to Mataró station in approximately 40-50 minutes. Once at the station, Playa de Callao is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk away, allowing us to enjoy the urban atmosphere of Mataró before immersing ourselves in the sea. There are also urban bus lines that bring us even closer to the beach from different points in the city.
