How to Get to Playa de Llenaire

Getting to Playa de Llenaire is relatively straightforward, which adds another point to its appeal. If we are coming from Palma, the capital of Mallorca, the journey by car takes approximately 45-50 minutes via the Ma-13 towards Alcúdia and then following the signs to Port de Pollença. Once in Port de Pollença, the beach is located in the southern part of the town, easily accessible from the promenade.

Public Transport

For those who prefer not to drive, there are public transport options. From Palma, we can take a direct bus to Port de Pollença (line 302 or 340 of TIB, depending on the season and schedule). Once in Port de Pollença, the beach is a short walk from the bus station or the main stops in the center. During the summer months, there are local lines connecting different points of Port de Pollença with the Llenaire area.

By Car and Parking

If we choose to go by car, we will find several parking areas, both free and paid, in the vicinity of the beach and along the promenade. Although in high season it can be a bit more challenging to find a spot right next to it, there are always options within a short walking distance. We usually look for parking on the adjacent streets or in the designated areas, which are well signposted. The ease of parking is a plus, especially if we are traveling with children or a lot of beach gear.

By Bicycle or on Foot

For those staying in Port de Pollença, the beach is perfectly accessible on foot or by bicycle via the pleasant promenade. It's a fantastic way to enjoy the coastal landscape and reach the beach in an active and sustainable way. The promenade is flat and in excellent condition, ideal for a morning or evening stroll.

The Sand and the Water

The main feature of Playa de Llenaire is its fine, golden sand, which gently slopes into the sea. The predominant type of seabed in the bathing area is also sandy, which guarantees a gentle entry into the sea without unpleasant surprises like rocks or sharp pebbles. The absence of stones on the bottom also facilitates the practice of water sports like paddle surfing or kayaking, as there is no risk of damaging the equipment.
