How to Get to Cala Molí
Getting to Cala Molí is part of the adventure and, fortunately, it is quite simple if we know how. This cove is located on the west coast of Ibiza, between Cala Tarida and Cala Vadella, in the municipal area of San José. We always recommend renting a car or a motorbike to get around Ibiza, as it gives us the freedom to explore at our own pace and discover less accessible coves. From San José, the journey by car takes just 10-15 minutes following the signs to Cala Tarida and then turning off towards Cala Molí. The signs are present, but sometimes you have to pay attention not to miss the turn-off.
By Car
If you choose the car, the most common route is from the town of San José. You should take the PM-803 road towards Cala Tarida. After a few kilometers, you will find a signposted turn-off towards Cala Molí. The final access to the cove is via a road with some slopes, but in good condition. Once there, you will find a free parking area, although we must warn you that in high season (July and August), this parking lot can fill up quickly. Our suggestion is to arrive early to secure a good spot and avoid frustration. It is not a huge parking lot, but it is sufficient for the capacity of the cove. The advantage of going by car is that you can then explore other nearby coves or the interior of the island.
By Motorbike or Scooter
For many, the motorbike or scooter is the ideal way to get around Ibiza, especially if you are a couple or a small group. They allow you to avoid traffic and find parking more easily.
