How to Get to Playa de Vidiago

Our route usually starts on the A-8 highway, the Autovía del Cantábrico, which takes us directly to the vicinity of Llanes. Once in the area, we take the exit towards Vidiago, a small, picturesque village in the municipality of Llanes. From here, the signage to the beach is quite clear, guiding us along local roads that wind through green meadows and traditional farmhouses, already offering a preview of Asturian rural beauty.

The final access to the beach is via a path that gently descends to the sand. Regarding Parking, finding a place to leave the car is usually possible, especially outside the high season. There are designated areas nearby, although space is limited, so we recommend arriving early during the summer months to secure a good spot. Once parked, a short walk separates us from the sand, a journey that already immerses us in the tranquility of the surroundings. For those who prefer public transport, options are more limited, with a private car being the most comfortable and efficient way to arrive and explore not only the beach but also the surroundings of Llanes.
