From Buelna, you must take a rural path that, after a few minutes, will leave you in an area where you can park the car. Parking is usually improvised on the roadside or in some designated area, so it is advisable to go early in the high season to secure a good spot. Playa de Cobijeru is a destination that captivates us at any time of the year, but there are moments when it shines with its own light. We, based on our experience, consider that spring and autumn are the best seasons to fully enjoy this Natural Monument. During these months, the weather is usually mild, the landscapes are dressed in a spectacular palette of colors, and most importantly, the number of visitors is lower. This allows us to enjoy the beach with a tranquility that is harder to find in summer.
In summer, the beach is very popular and attracts many curious visitors and bathers. If you decide to visit in July or August, we recommend going early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid crowds and find a good parking spot. Sunny summer days are perfect for a swim in its calm waters. Winter, although colder and with shorter days, also offers a different and very photogenic perspective of Cobijeru, with the force of the Cantabrian Sea resonating through the tunnel and the beach wrapped in a more mystical and solitary atmosphere. In short, each season
