How to Get to Playa de los Estudiantes

Getting to Playa de los Estudiantes is surprisingly simple, which is one of its great advantages. Being located in the very urban center of Villajoyosa, its accessibility is excellent, whether you come by car, prefer public transport, or even a pleasant walk. We always recommend considering the different options to tailor the journey to your preferences and needs.

By Car

If you choose to drive, the AP-7 motorway and the national road N-332 are the main arteries connecting Villajoyosa with the rest of the province of Alicante and beyond. From the city of Alicante, the journey is about 30 kilometers north, while from Benidorm to the south, it's barely 10 kilometers. Once in Villajoyosa, the signage towards the urban center and the beaches is clear. Playa de los Estudiantes is very close to the port and the old town, so finding your way won't be a problem. Regarding parking, being an urban area, finding a spot right next to the beach can be a challenge in high season. However, there are several public parking areas nearby, some paid and some free, just a few minutes' walk away. We usually look for parking on the streets adjacent to the center or in the designated parking lots near the port.

By Public Transport

For those who prefer to leave the car at home, public transport offers very comfortable alternatives. Villajoyosa has a train station on the TRAM Metropolitano de Alicante line, connecting the town with the city of Alicante, Benidorm, and other coastal towns. The 'La Vila Joiosa' stop is a reasonable distance from the beach, and from there you can walk for about 15-20 minutes, enjoying the charm of the town's streets, or take a local bus that gets you even closer. Furthermore, there are intercity bus lines connecting Villajoyosa with other important cities in the province, making your arrival even easier.

On Foot or by Bicycle

If you are already in Villajoyosa, Playa de los Estudiantes is perfectly accessible on foot or by bicycle. Its central location makes it an ideal destination for a morning or evening stroll.
