Getting to Playa de la Mata is, fortunately, quite straightforward, making it a very convenient destination for all types of travelers. We always recommend planning the journey a little to make the most of the day.

By Car

If you're coming by car, the beach is perfectly signposted from the N-332, the main road running along the coast. From Torrevieja center, the journey is short, just about 10-15 minutes. There are several free parking areas along the beach, although, as with all popular Torrevieja beaches, during high season and weekends it can be a challenge to find a spot. Our recommendation is to arrive early to secure a good place. The advantage of going by car is the freedom to explore the surroundings easily.

By Public Transport

For those who prefer not to drive, Playa de la Mata has good bus connections. From Torrevieja center, several urban lines (like line A) have strategic stops along the beach.
