How to Get to Playa de la Babilonia

Getting to Playa de la Babilonia is relatively straightforward, as it's part of the urban fabric of Guardamar del Segura. We always recommend planning your route in advance, especially if traveling during the high season.

By Car

If traveling by car, the most common way to get there is via the AP-7 or the N-332. From Alicante, take the N-332 heading south, and from Murcia, the N-332 heading north. Once in Guardamar, follow the signs to the town center and the beach area. Playa de la Babilonia is located in the northern part of the promenade, near the mouth of the Segura River. You'll find various parking areas on the streets adjacent to the promenade, although in summer it can be a bit more difficult to find a spot, so we advise arriving early.

By Bus

Guardamar del Segura has good bus connections with nearby major cities like Alicante, Elche, Torrevieja, and Murcia. Once at the Guardamar bus station, the beach is a short walk away, or you can take a local bus if you prefer. It's a comfortable and economical option for those who prefer not to drive.

By Plane

The nearest airport is Alicante-Elche Airport (ALC), located about 30-35 kilometers away. From there, you can rent a car, take a taxi, or use the bus services connecting the airport with Guardamar del Segura. We always recommend this last option if you're looking for maximum comfort after a flight.
