How to Get to Cala del Lanuza
Getting to Cala del Lanuza beach is relatively straightforward, which adds to its appeal. It's located north of the urban center of El Campello, in a quiet residential area. If we're coming from Alicante city, the drive takes about 20-25 minutes via the N-332 or AP-7, taking the exit towards El Campello. Once in the municipality, signage towards the northern coves will guide us without difficulty.
By Car
For us, the car is the most comfortable option. There are parking areas on the streets adjacent to the cove, although they can get quite busy during high season. We recommend arriving early, especially during July and August, to secure a good spot. The cove is easily accessible on foot from these parking areas, with small descents leading directly to the sand.
By Public Transport
El Campello has an excellent Tram connection (lines L1 and L3) linking Alicante with Dénia. We can get off at the 'Lanuza' or 'Poble Espanyol' stop, and from there, the cove is about a 10-15 minute walk away. It's an ecological and highly recommended option if we prefer to forget about the car.

The absence of strong currents and the shallow depth near the shore make it perfect for a relaxing swim. Furthermore, its rocky bottom in some areas is a paradise for snorkeling enthusiasts, where we can observe varied marine life just a few meters from the surface. We always recommend wearing water shoes for more comfort when entering and exiting the water, although they are not essential.

We consider Cala del Lanuza beach a wonderful destination at any time of the year, but there are moments that stand out above others to fully enjoy it.
- Spring (April-May): For us, it's one of the best times. Temperatures are mild, days are sunny, and the number of visitors is lower. The water is already warming up and is perfect for the first swims of the year. The surrounding vegetation is at its peak, and the air is pure and fresh.
- Summer (June-September): Undoubtedly, the high season. The cove comes alive with more services and a livelier atmosphere. Temperatures are high and the water is ideal for swimming. However, this is also when it receives the most visitors, so we recommend going early in the morning or late in the afternoon to find a quiet spot.
