How to Get to Playa Cayo Las Brujas

Getting to Playa Cayo Las Brujas is part of the adventure. The most common way is to fly into Abel Santamaría International Airport (SNU) in Santa Clara, the provincial capital of Villa Clara. From there, a journey of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by bus or taxi awaits, crossing the famous causeway. This bridge, about 48 kilometers long, is an impressive feat of engineering that winds over the sea, offering us spectacular panoramic views of the crystal-clear waters and mangroves.

Transportation Options

• Direct Flights: Some tour operators offer charter flights directly to Cayo Las Brujas Airport (MZO), a smaller airport located on the cay itself, which significantly reduces transfer time to the resort.
• Organized Transfers: Most tour packages include the transfer from Santa Clara airport to the hotels on Cayo Las Brujas. This is the most comfortable and recommended option.
• Car Rental: If we prefer the freedom to explore on our own, we can rent a car in Santa Clara. However, once on the cay, most travel is done on foot or with the internal hotel shuttles, as distances are short and the atmosphere invites calm. It's important to remember that roads outside the causeway may not be in the best condition.
