How to Get to Kašjuni Beach

Getting to Kašjuni Beach from the center of Split is relatively easy, and there are several options to suit different preferences and budgets. We always recommend exploring the possibilities to choose the one that best fits your travel plan and enjoy the journey, which in itself offers spectacular views.

By Bus

The most economical and comfortable way to reach Kašjuni Beach is by using public transport. From the Split bus station (located near Diocletian's Palace and the port), you can take line 12 heading to Bene. This bus will drop you off very close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. The journey is scenic, skirting the Marjan peninsula and offering preliminary views of the Adriatic. It is an excellent option to avoid the stress of parking, especially during the high season. Buses are frequent, although we advise you to check the updated schedules, as they may vary depending on the time of year. There is another line, number 21, that also gets close to the area, but line 12 is the most direct for Kašjuni.

By Taxi or Uber

If you prefer comfort and speed, a taxi or Uber service is an excellent alternative. The trip from the center of Split to Kašjuni Beach takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic. It is an ideal option if you are traveling with a lot of beach gear or with small children, or if you simply want to get there hassle-free and directly to the shore. The cost is reasonable and can be a good investment if you are a small group that can share the expenses.

On Foot or by Bicycle

For lovers of physical activity and panoramic views, walking or cycling to Kašjuni Beach is a very rewarding experience. From the center of Split, you can follow the seaside promenade that borders the Marjan peninsula. The walk takes about 45-60 minutes, while by bicycle it will take about 20-30 minutes. By Car

If you arrive in Split by rental car or with your own vehicle, you can drive to Kašjuni Beach. There is a paid Parking lot right next to the beach, which is very convenient. However, keep in mind that during the summer months (July and August), the parking lot can fill up quickly and it can be difficult to find a spot, especially at peak hours. Our recommendation is to arrive early if you choose this option. The road is good and well signposted, but it's always good to have a GPS handy.
