How to get to Playa de Planjka

Getting to Playa de Planjka is part of the adventure and, fortunately, it is well connected. The island of Pag, where Novalja is located, is accessible in several ways, making the journey comfortable and picturesque. We always recommend planning ahead, especially if travelling during the high season.

By car and ferry

The most common way is to arrive by car. From the peninsula, you take a ferry from Prizna to Žigljen, on the island of Pag. This journey is short and offers spectacular views. Once in Žigljen, the trip to Novalja and Playa de Planjka is just a few kilometres, well signposted and easy to follow. It's an ideal option if we plan to explore the island at our own pace.

By bus and from the airport

Novalja is well connected by bus to cities like Zagreb, Zadar and Rijeka. From Novalja bus station, we can opt for a taxi or local buses that take us to the beaches. The nearest airport is Zadar (ZAD), about an hour and a half to two hours away, including the ferry. From there, we can rent a car or take a bus/private transfer. We value the options that allow us to arrive hassle-free.
