By Bus

From Dubrovnik's Old Town, we can take local bus number 5 or 8 heading to Viktorija. The stop closest to the beach is on the main road, from where we will have to walk a few minutes downhill. It is an economical option and allows us to enjoy the urban landscape before immersing ourselves in nature.

By Car

If we prefer the comfort of our own vehicle or a taxi, we can drive to the area near the Sveti Jakov church. There is a parking lot available, although it is usually paid and can fill up quickly in high season. From the parking lot, the beach is accessible via a path and, here comes the part we like to emphasize: a long staircase. There are approximately 160 steps that take us directly to the shore. The climb back up can be good exercise, but the reward of the views and the beach is well worth the effort.

On Foot

For the more adventurous and those who enjoy a good walk, Sveti Jakov Beach is accessible on foot from the Old Town. It is a scenic walk of about 20-30 minutes, taking us along the coast, offering us spectacular views of the walled city from different angles. It is a fantastic way to appreciate the beauty of the Dubrovnik-Neretva beaches and the Croatian coastline.
