From Palma de Mallorca, the journey takes approximately 20-25 minutes via the Ma-1 motorway towards Andratx, taking the exit for Santa Ponsa. Once in Santa Ponsa, signs towards the coast or the promenade will easily guide you. There are parking areas on the surrounding streets, although in high season it can be a challenge to find a free spot, so we recommend arriving early.

For those who prefer public transport, various bus lines of the TIB network (Transport de les Illes Balears) connect Santa Ponsa with Palma and other points of interest on the island. The closest stop to Caló d'en Pellicer would be in the center of Santa Ponsa, from where the cove is accessible on foot after a short and pleasant walk. This walk allows us to enjoy the local atmosphere before reaching our final destination. It is also a cove easily accessible on foot from most accommodations in Santa Ponsa, making it a very convenient option for tourists staying in the area.

The sand is fine and of a pale golden hue, incredibly soft to the touch under our feet. It's perfect for spreading out a towel and enjoying long hours of sun, or for the little ones to build sandcastles without difficulty. Its homogeneous and clean texture contributes to a very pleasant and comfortable beach experience.

Best Time to Visit

Choosing the best time to visit Caló d'en Pellicer beach largely depends on our personal preferences regarding climate and crowds. We, from our experience, consider late spring (May and early June) and early autumn (September and October) to be the ideal times. During these months, the climate in Mallorca is exceptionally pleasant, with mild temperatures inviting for swimming and sunbathing, but without the intense heat of midsummer.

Furthermore, in spring and autumn, the influx of tourists is considerably lower than in July and August. This means we can enjoy the cove with much more tranquility and space, feeling like we have a little piece of paradise almost to ourselves. Accommodation and flight prices are also usually more competitive.
