The main roads leading to Lezhë are in good condition, facilitating access from larger cities like Tirana or Shkodër.

Once in Lezhë, following the signs towards the Kune area is quite straightforward. The road to the beach can become a bit more rural and, in some sections, less paved, especially as we venture into the heart of the reserve. However, a standard vehicle is usually sufficient to navigate these paths. We like to think that this small challenge on the road is part of the adventure, an introduction to the wild nature that awaits us. Don't expect major coastal highways, but rather a gradual immersion into a more authentic and less exploited landscape. We advise you to bring a GPS or have a downloaded map, as the internet signal can be intermittent in certain areas of the reserve. • Parking: There are designated areas for parking the car, which is essential given the need to arrive by private vehicle. Although not always paved, they are functional and usually have sufficient capacity, even in high season.
• Chiringuitos: During the beach season, you can find several chiringuitos and small local restaurants. These establishments are perfect for enjoying a refreshing drink, a coffee, or even a delicious meal with sea views. We love the authenticity of these places, where fresh local fish is often served.
• Sunbeds and umbrellas: For those seeking maximum comfort, it's possible to rent sunbeds and umbrellas at most chiringuitos. This allows us to relax in the shade and fully enjoy the Albanian sun without worrying about bringing our own equipment.
• Showers: Although not luxury showers, you can usually find basic facilities to rinse off the sand and salt after a swim. They are functional and much appreciated.
• Lifeguards: During the peak summer season, there are usually lifeguard posts in the more crowded areas of the beach, which gives us additional peace of mind, especially if traveling with children. It's important to remember, however, that in the more remote areas of the reserve, surveillance may be limited.
• Bathrooms/WC: Some chiringuitos and restaurants offer access to bathrooms, although their availability may vary. It's advisable to ask at the
